Greylag goose er blandt de jagtbare arter i Agder. Greylag goose hunting is the most important goose hunt in Norway. It starts as early as August 10th, and the first few days can yield good results while the geese are still feeding consistently on local fields.
Udbredelse
The greylag goose breeds along the coast from Rogaland to Troms, with the highest density in Rogaland, Vestland, Møre og Romsdal and Trøndelag. In autumn it migrates south in large flocks.
Terræn
Coastal landscape with salt marshes, islets and farmland. The goose grazes on grassland and stubble fields, and nests on islets and islands. It tends to stay near the sea.
