Distribution
The greylag goose breeds along the coast from Rogaland to Troms, with the highest density in Rogaland, Vestland, Møre og Romsdal and Trøndelag. In autumn it migrates south in large flocks.
Terrain
Coastal landscape with salt marshes, islets and farmland. The goose grazes on grassland and stubble fields, and nests on islets and islands. It tends to stay near the sea.
