Hunta connects Guns with landowners. Landowners list their ground with descriptions, photos and prices. Guns find ground, send requests and arrange directly with the landowner.

Is it free to sign up?

Yes, signing up is free. For landowners, publishing listings is free too, with no fixed costs and no commitment. Hunta adds a service fee on top of the landowner's price for the day. The Gun pays it, and it is included in the price shown. Read more on For landowners .

Where is Hunta available?

The Hunta app works across Europe. The marketplace for shooting starts in Norway, and we're steadily adding new ground.

How do I find ground to shoot over?

Sign up for free, browse available terrain and filter by game type, county, price and available dates. When you find something, send a request to the landowner.

What does it cost to shoot via Hunta?

The price is set by the landowner and shown clearly before booking. You see what the day costs before sending a request or completing a booking.

Do I need a game licence?

Yes, you must have paid the Norwegian game licence fee (jegeravgift) for the current shooting year to book a day in Norway. It is a legal requirement. When you book, we automatically check with Jegerregisteret at the Brønnøysund Register Centre that the fee has been paid.

What types of game can I shoot?

It depends on what landowners offer. Common game types include red deer, roe deer, elk, wild reindeer, duck and grouse.

How do I list my ground?

Sign up as a landowner, describe your property with photos and details, set a price and available dates. You'll be ready to receive requests in minutes.

What does it cost for landowners?

Registering and publishing listings is free of charge, with no fixed costs and no commitment. Hunta adds a service fee on top of your price for the day. The Gun pays it, and it is included in the price shown. No commission is taken from your price. Read more on For landowners .

Can I choose who shoots on my property?

Yes. You approve or reject all requests yourself. No one shoots on your property without your consent.

Can I block Guns I'm not satisfied with?

Yes. If you're not satisfied with a Gun, you can block them so they can't send new requests to you.

Is there a commitment period?

No. You can remove your terrain at any time. No contracts, no obligations.

All Guns must have a valid game licence. We have a review system and all communication is logged. You always know who you're dealing with.

What about insurance and liability?

Guns are responsible for their own actions and must have valid liability insurance. Landowners inform about known hazards. Hunta facilitates contact between parties.

Shooting to let across Norway

Hunta connects Guns with landowners who have shooting to let. Whether you're after red deer stalking on the west coast, elk in Hedmark or ptarmigan shooting on the Finnmark plateau, we gather available ground in one place. You avoid calling around landowners or sitting on waiting lists for years.

Here’s how it works: landowners list their ground with description, map and price. As a Gun you can see what's available, contact the landowner directly and arrange the day. We handle payments and agreements so both parties know what they’re getting.

Shooting in Norway is changing. More landowners see the value of letting their shooting, and more Guns are looking for new ground to shoot over. Hunta makes it easier for both sides. Read more in the Shooting Handbook.
