Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Hunta, whether you're a Gun or a landowner.
General
Hunta is the shooting platform that brings everything together: a free app for the syndicate in the field, and a marketplace where landowners list their ground and Guns find and book days, simply and safely.
Yes, signing up is free. For landowners, publishing listings is free too, with no fixed costs and no commitment. Hunta adds a service fee on top of the price the landowner sets for the day. The Gun pays it, and it is included in the price shown. Read more on For landowners.
The Hunta app works across Europe. The marketplace for shooting ground starts in Norway, and we're growing steadily with new ground.
Send us an email at contact@hunta.no or use the contact form on the About us page.
For Guns
Sign up for free, browse available ground and filter by game type, county, price and available dates. When you find something that fits, send a request to the landowner.
The price is set by the landowner and shown clearly before booking. You see what the day costs before sending a request or completing a booking.
Yes, you must have paid the Norwegian game licence fee (jegeravgift) for the current season to book a day in Norway. It is a legal requirement. When you book, we automatically check with Jegerregisteret at the Brønnøysund Register Centre that the fee has been paid.
It depends on what landowners offer. Common game types include red deer, roe deer, elk, wild reindeer, duck and grouse. Filter by game type to find what you're looking for.
Yes, after a day both parties can leave feedback. Over time this builds a reliable review system that helps you choose the right ground.
We encourage open communication between Gun and landowner. Leave feedback through the review system, and contact us if there's something we can help with.
For landowners
Sign up as a landowner, describe your property with photos and details, set a price and available dates. You'll be ready to receive requests in minutes.
Registering and publishing listings is free of charge, with no fixed costs and no commitment. Hunta adds a service fee on top of the price you set. The Gun pays it, and it is included in the price shown. No commission is taken from your price. Read more on For landowners.
Absolutely. You approve or reject all requests yourself. No one shoots on your property without your consent.
Yes. If a Gun doesn't follow the agreement or you're not satisfied, you can block them so they can't send new requests to you.
No commitment period. You can remove your ground at any time with one click. No contracts, no obligations.
You set the price yourself. As more ground is listed, you can see what similar ground in your area is listed for. You always have full control over pricing.
Safety and security
All Guns must have a valid game licence. We have a review system and all communication is logged in the platform. You always know who you're dealing with.
Guns are responsible for their own actions and must have valid liability insurance. Landowners are responsible for informing about known hazards on the property. Hunta is a platform that facilitates contact between parties.
