Season: Aug 10 – Dec 23
Greylag goose is among the huntable species in Trøndelag. Greylag goose hunting is the most important goose hunt in Norway. It starts as early as August 10th, and the first few days can yield good results while the geese are still feeding consistently on local fields.
3–4 kg
Trøndelag has Norway's most productive hunting terrain in Namdal and the Snåsa area. Broad valleys with spruce forest provide good conditions for moose and forest grouse. The mountain areas in the east border Sweden and offer ptarmigan hunting. The Trondheim Fjord gives mild winters in the lowlands, while the inland is more continental.
Rekognoser kvelden før for å se hvor gåsa beiter. Sett opp lokkegjess i naturlige formasjoner. Liggestilling gir best kamuflasje.
