À propos de la chasse (common eider)

Eider hunting is a traditional form of coastal hunting with deep roots in Norwegian culture. The hunt takes place from boats or fixed positions along the coast.

The bird is tough and resilient, requiring good shot placement and heavy shot loads. The eider flies heavily but steadily, offering a calmer shooting window than many other ducks.

The population has declined in many areas, and hunting is more restricted than before. Always check local quotas and regulations.
